The first thing I did was cut 8x8" squares from five different fabrics. Then, I sewed them together with a 6x6" piece of batting in between them. Once I had sewn enough ( ~110 ), I began to lay out possible patterns.
I decided on this pattern. After a bunch of pinning, sewing, trimming and washing, I can finally snuggle up with my rag quilt!
Emmy, I have always loved the brown and blue combo and were the colors for my very first quilt I made 3 years ago.....You are so talented and I enjoy how you showed the creative process of your quilt. My favorite design wall is my floor also! Thanks for sharing and can't wait to see more projects! Em
