Team One 16's Zen
The teams are loving the new facility and the amazing coaching staff.
We started strong in the first round of seeding, rising from seeded in the 80's to # 43 out of 150 teams, losing only one match to the number 4 seed. The girls are playing very well together as a team and are all very talented players.
Our first tournament, Fusion Rockford Point Series, Team One finishes first place out of 16, losing only one match in 3 sets to Madison Elite, who we defeated soundly in 2 sets in our Gold Bracket rematch.
A few cringes as the team accepted their hard won prize after 12 hours of playing:

It was a long day, but a very good day. The girls played some great volleyball.
